The first rounds of the ETF2L tournament for TF2 was today… we got *bleeped* hard.
Also, I signed up as pyro when we agreed to do this… So when the player who was to be the scout could not show, some one else volunteered, but he took my pyro class. Thus I was stuck playing scout, I hate playing the scout, and am horrible at it… so all in all not a fun day there.
But hey, at least we tried.
Its been too long since I last posted so I thought I would act as some sort of adbot and tell you all to buy minecraft…. NOW! Wait, who am I kidding, no one reads this.
What is minecraft? It’s a game where you dig, and try to survive. dig some more, and build. Oh do you build.
Photo not up to date, for one that is now a lavafall.
Minecraft also features many mechanisms you can build to automate mine cart railway stations and other weird things.
all on a map that is about 8 times the surface of the earth…
Its simple and addictive.
remember that part earlier on the post? Large heights and lava are not your only dangers here. At night the undead walk the earth. Able to spawn anywhere there is darkness, even your own home if you have no torches! Also giant spiders and the infamous creeper….
All he does is go right behind you, hiss, then explode… killing you, and destroying large portions of the terrain, possibly ruining hours of work. He has been known to cause whole mines to flood as his crater lets the ocean pour in. And unlike the undead, he does not die in sunlight, you have to kill him, or avoid him.
So with such horrors why do we play?
This blog was mainly going to be purely for programming… but I decided since I am very inconsistent with how often I program, I am going to use this blog for all very nerdy things. So first up is that my friend Eastwood has decided to start up his D&D campaign again.
This time he has allowed us to roll up new characters rather than just use the premades.
So I used Wizards character generator and built Quest again from scratch, though he is mainly the same.

I have also been playing in a WHFRP 2nd Edition campaign as well, so far it is almost hilarious how screwed we are. The healer contracted a disease that is extremely horrifying that is passed by touch. He has to touch us to heal us...
